Fireworks! FIREWORKS!!!
Thanks to a Tweet from the official Japanese Animal Crossing Twitter account, @doubutsuno_mori, we can now view newly updated sections on the Japanese Animal Crossing website.

A calendar section is now available for viewing, as well as a communications section. Each section has a ton of great information and images that have never been seen up to this point. If you don't use Google Translate, now may be the time to start putting it to good use!

Here's some loosely translated information from the calendar section:
  • Every day is special! 365 days in the village
  • Stroll around the village, watching the starry sky, in the morning or in the evening
  • Meet with a different fish and insects in the summer and winter
  • Time flows flows realistically, depending on the season
  • Seasons come and go
  • Depending on the seasons, the colors of the trees and landscape will change
  • Mushrooms start to grow in the autumn
  • Seasons are as follows: Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter
  • Special season events happen in the village
Here's some loosely translated information from the communications section:
  • Connect with anyone, at any time
  • Invite your friends to your village
  • Strangers can visit your village
  • Four players can have fun in the village at one time
  • Go to the Club in a group
  • Go fishing in a group
  • Freely chat in a group
  • Register your "best friends"
  • Tropical summer island tours with friends or alone
  • Exclusive items only purchased on island
  • Go for a dive together with friends in wet suits
  • Rare fish and insect on the island
  • Island mini-maze: Find hidden fruit

So I need opinions here guys. This screen shot from the new game is interesting. Do you see that the cherries have one that is off color? I would love to know what that means? Is this something that was present in the previous games that i was unaware of? Opinions?
Hmmm .. that does look speical, doesn't it? Maybe it's like finding a special mushroom that's worth more than the others? Or that weed you pull up that's really a lucky 4-leaf clover?

This is the kind of teaser that I don't mind. One that makes us excited about what's coming up, without giving us every detail of what we'll find and can do.

I understand. You like the game to retain its mystery. That makes sense. Well in future instances on my Google+ you can feel free to mute any posts or videos or other AC info that you think may spoil your experience. I am personally ok with getting as much detail as possible to satisfy me while I wait for the game but I know that is not the case for everyone.

Do you see what I see? There are numbers next to the items! Meaning multiple of the same items wont take up an additional slot! Well it seems like the max is up to 10 but that is amazing! What a practical space saver when you want to sell... oh lets say... 100 apples! :) So excited about this. I have been watching the translated Nintendo Direct videos on YouTube by Lin & Co. There is so much information that I missed being that i am unfamiliar with the language!
"Are there 100 apples in your pockets, or are you just happy to see me?"
omg!  I love animal crossings.   is that new 1 gonna come out on the #ds or is it 4 the wii u ?

lol vikki about the apples

Yeah I know you enjoy Animal Crossing. I still have not gotten around to booting up my Wild World to add you. Sorry. Sometime soon and when I do I will private message you.

Now since you asked a question the answer is, this game is specifically for the 3DS. There is a lot of information on this game here on Nintendo Nerds. You can use the search function on the top right to type: animal crossing. It may help you get the info you need.  :)
great ill do that because i've played animal crossings since the game cube and have been addicted ever since :)

That is the only one I never played. I would like to one day but based on how advanced this game will be in comparison, I am not sure how much I will enjoy it. You can also private message me your animal crossing friend code so I have it.
