Turn over a new leaf with new Animal Crossing: New Leaf Wallpapers and Facebook Covers!

You know, June 9th is right around the corner. Isn't it time we all started counting down and celebrating with themed desktop wallpapers and Facebook cover images? Maybe your current wallpaper and Facebook Cover is just getting boring. Nonetheless, there's always an excuse to change it up with something more lively and vivid.

The official Animal Crossing: New Leaf website have recently released four different desktop wallpapers and Facebook Covers. Each image is seasonally themed, which means you can enjoy a new Animal Crossing image for any season out of the year.

Oh snap! Good stuff. I like wallpapers and these do not disappoint. I have added them to the NN gallery as well.
My current Facebook Cover is a drawing I did in MSPaint of a bear and a rainbow. So an Animal Crossing image feels like a natural progression.

I had seen these images on Tumblr and I thought they were pretty awesome, but as wallpapers they're even more awesome!

I get really bored with some of the Nintendo wallpapers and Swapnotes that look really uninspired. A random background with essentially clip-art copy and pasted into a corner simply reeks of cut corners.

These Animal Crossing wallpapers are as visually interesting as they are informative.

Sweet! Glad they are going all out with the ad campaign for AC:NF. I really can't wait for this game.

And did everyone digg the music for the game on the website? I hope that's the theme song. I like it!

I just noticed on the official AC:NL site they are also using QR Codes to custom designs and patterns for furniture, clothing, etc. Plus, you can create your own custom designs and share them via QR Code with friends.

They used QR codes in Mario Tennis to unlock different colored Yoshii's. I'd like to see them use the QR Codes more in their games.
