Although Game Boy Advance (GBA) 3DS eShop titles have yet to be confirmed, images for three GBA games have been recently uploaded to a Nintendo server. Games Super Mario Ball, Mario Golf Advance Tour and Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga all have images on the Nintendo of Europe press server. There's no question that GBA titles will eventually have their own sacred library in the 3DS eShop. The question is, "when will this happen?"

Earlier today, Nintendo of Europe posted a Tweet saying:

Nintendo of Europe Twitter said:

Please note: Nintendo eShop will be down for maintenance from 3rd Oct, 8pm CEST until 4th Oct, 5am CEST. Apologies for the inconvenience.

Just four hours later, Nintendo of Europe posted another Tweet. This time, about a new, upcoming Nintendo Direct that involved information about the 3DS.

Nintendo of Europe Twitter said:

[Shibata] This Thursday, I hope you join me for a full #NintendoDirectEU about Nintendo #3DS, 4th October at 8pm CEST

Is there anything coincidental that Nintendo of Europe making these two announcements? Will President of Nintendo of Europe, Satoru Shibata, reveal that GBA titles will become available in the Nintendo 3DS eShop during the European Nintendo Direct?

Man, I sure hope so. I missed out on the GBA library completely, save for Pokemon Ruby and FireRed, which don't even work properly anymore.
This would be great. There are so many GBA games I missed out on and the graphics from that system hold up nicely (i.e. LoZ Minnish Cap). If Pokemon is not planning to release a new version of Ruby Sapphire and Emerald then I would really want those games. I would also like to see Final Fantasy Dawn of Souls (FF & FF II).
I missed out on a lot of GBA games as well that I want to play so I hope they do!
Im with yall, theres a real good amount of advance games id like 2 catch up on. @Aquizero FF Dawn of Souls was one of my fav games on GBA when I had one.
