The Land Down Under is a land without Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate.

Rumors soaring throughout the Land Down Under have put monster hunting fans on edge. Capcom's upcoming Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate — scheduled to make its debut appearance for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS this Saturday, March 23rd — could end up facing shortages for the 3DS version. The rumors initially claimed that both Wii U and 3DS versions of the game could end up being delayed due to shortages of stock.

To clear things up a bit, Nintendo fansite Vooks (based in Australia) reached out to Nintendo Australia for clarification on any possible shortages. Here's what they recently had to say:

Nintendo Australia said:

With Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate launching this weekend, we are pleased with the reception of the title on both Wii U and Nintendo 3DS. Due to current demand we have identified some retail stores may have limited stock on Nintendo 3DS.

Wii U and Nintendo 3DS titles are available to purchase as a digital download directly from Nintendo eShop, including Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate on Wii U and Nintendo 3DS launching this Saturday.
Nintendo Australia has also partnered with EB Games to offer Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate on Nintendo 3DS as a digital download code bought in store then redeemed for immediate download from Nintendo eShop.
