Brain Age: Concentration Training With Kate Hudson

By Kevin on Feb 04 2013 10:46 PM
Nintendo of America have just uploaded a new video to their official YouTube channel. The video shows celebrity actress Kate Hudson having her hand at Brain Age: Concentration Training — the newest title in the Brain Age series — for the Nintendo 3DS. The thirty-six second mini-clip is filled with cheesy punchlines and a shot of age reality.

Brain Age: Concentration Training will be released in North America on February 10th and in Europe on April 12th.

I love Kate Hudson. She is so pretty and a great actress. When I see commercials like this, I just smile.
I think it's neat to incorporate celebs in these commercials.  Not the most original thing, but it's cool.
I love the commercials with Penelope Cruz and her sister. XD (Here's my favorite. And another one.)

This Kate Hudson one was pretty good, but I want a bit more of a story. I wonder what Kate Hudson's Brain Age is?

I'm getting Brain Age: Concentration Training because I'm constantly distrac— squirrel!

Haha, I must admit that you crack me up. Yes, the commercials with Penelope Cruz and her sister are my favorite commercials ever by Nintendo! The commercials have so much personality. I can't even count how many times I watched those commercials. Hehe.

It's really interesting because I think it creates a relationship between the player and the game that's unlike any other. It's a game that says, "You're brain is old!" It basically insults you. And then it expects you to keep trying anyway. It isn't a game that you can "win" it's a game that tries to improve your life. So while I think "hate" is a pretty strong word, I get it. I can see where you're coming from.

It's a game/test method that assumes a lot about the players as well. I wonder if it could diagnose learning disabilities, y'know?
If it manages to guess even minor mental disabilities, I'm gonna call the game a stalker. Get away from my window, you creepy game!

People used to ask on this other forum what the latest 3DS update did and I once told them, "This update allows Nintendo to watch you play using the cameras on the 3DS." That freaked quite a few people out. XD
Hahaha! Oh man, that would've been hilarious to see.
