Just a few short days ago, Nintendo announced that a new Nintendo Direct — a Nintendo 3DS Direct for North America and Europe — would be taking place today. In just about 30 more minutes, I'll be posting live updates during the North American 3DS Direct presentation. Since the European 3DS Direct will also be broadcast during the same time, I've chosen to follow the North America coverage. Nintendo seem to always surprise us with some news that we're not expecting so prepare to get dowsed with a few surprises. There's been a lot of hype pertaining to today's presentation.

Will the Animal Crossing: New Leaf 3DS XL finally be announced for North America and Europe? Remember when The Legend of Zelda: Oracles of Seasons and Oracles of Ages was announced for the Japanese 3DS Virtual Console service during the February 21st Japanese Nintendo 3DS Direct? Will the west see those classics? Speaking of Zelda titles, there's been a lot of talk about a Majora's Mask remake for the Nintendo 3DS. Is that something you'd like to see in the near future? What about Miiverse for 3DS? Is that expected to surface during today's presentation? Also, I know many of you would really like to see Square-Enix's Braverly Default: Flying Fairy localized. We could go on and on with speculation. Let's just see what we're graced with in the next hour or so!

Stay tuned for the latest details, right here!
The presentation is scheduled for approximately 37 minutes.

Lots of exciting news. I'm looking forward to seeing more of the new Link to the Past game.
Coolness!  I like reading the rundown on these things, then going back to watch parts I find interest in.
I'm excited for Animal Crossing New Leaf, but since you all already know that, I'm also excited about:
  • The new Yoshi's Island game for the 3DS
  • The new LoZ: Link to the Past game (waow!)
  • Owning a Wii U someday so I can play Pikmin 3 and Game & Wario
  • I may be little excited for Lego, but I don't know
  • Mario and Luigi Dream Team special attacks
It was another great Nintendo Direct! (But I missed seeing Corey, haha!)
There are so many good things that came from this Nintendo Direct. My mind is literally blown out of excitement. I am very happy that the Wii U was given "some" love too. My favorite parts were:
  • New LoZ game reveal
  • Wii U system update next week
  • Bravely Default localization confirmation
  • Pikmin 3 new Pikmin reveal
  • Yoshi's Island reveal
  • NSLU Luigi mechanics reveal
  • Earthbound localization
Yoshi's Island! YES!! :wee:
Almost everything from this Nintendo Direct was fantastic!
In my opinion:
  • Most exciting moment: Link to the Past sequel :)
  • Most disappointing moment: Professor Layton 6 coming 2014 and no mention of PL vs AA :(
It's always fun seeing EB Games Australia so eagerly jump on the new announcements and offer pre-orders almost immediately after the Nintendo Direct. I think I'm most excited for Bravely Default, personally. I'm still holding out hope that Namco Bandai will announce a localised release for Digimon World Re:Digitize Decode in the future. I've only played four or five Digimon games, but this one is easily my favourite.
