Download Fire Emblem Awakening for 8,579 blocks.

For those of you who have been eagerly awaiting the digital version of Fire Emblem Awakening, it is now available for download via Nintendo 3DS eShop. Before downloading, take note that the block requirement is rather hefty. The required block size does not include any software updates or Downloadable Content (DLC) that the title may require.

Oh wow I did not even realize that today is the release date for the game. Man I have to pick my reserve up from Gamestop. :)

Indeed D:
I went out to get Fire Emblem Awakening today, but no store had it because of a problem with the shipment. The nice guys at GameStop figured that Nintendo would overnight ship within the next day or two.

I knew something was up because the Sunday newspaper flyers were saying certain well-known box stores would have it Wednesday and Friday.

I feel silly complaining about it knowing that diaglyph and LuffyFoxtrot have to wait even longer. But I was a bit disappointed.

On the positive side of things, I saw some cute dogs today. XD
Still waiting on my game from Gamestop. When I called Monday they said most likely the game will be in the store on Thursday. Since I have fully paid off my pre-order I can't afford to get this game from another store and am stuck waiting. :(

Thanks for the concern, Pasta, but believe me, I really have no issue with reading complaints like this xD It seems that, in this case,  Nintendo didn't set a proper street date with retailers. Kind of silly, really. Either way, cute animals make everything better :3

::Laughs:: Cute animals really do make everything better!

I called today and the guy was like, "We still don't have any copies. It's something happening on Nintendo's end. You can download it in the eShop, though. Call us tomorrow at noon and we may have gotten some in, but I did hear that it may not arrive until the end of the month."

At that point I blacked out. All I heard was was his voice echoing, "...it may not arrive until the end of the month."
"...until the end of the month."
"...the end of the month."
"...the month."
"...the month."
"...the month."
"...the end..."

Massachusetts is about to get slammed by a huge blizzard and the State House declared that no one should be on the roads after noon, so I'm just believing in myself.

I'm going to play Nintendogs + cats to pass the time. It's my go-to waiting game.
i actually bought it on the eshop on the 3rd of feb at 10pm, right after work. im on ch.6 i believe. awesome game
Amazon still haven't shipped my copy out. I might try and find this in the store later on. If I do, I'll cancel my order with Amazon. I'm not a fan of digital downloads though, unless it's for an eShop-exclusive game.
I still don't have a copy. I called GameStop and they don't have it, I went to Target and it's the same deal. They seem to be saying, "We got some copies in for pre-orders, but that's it. Also, it's not our fault so blame either Nintendo or the weather."

I blame woolly mammoths. If they hadn't gone extinct, this never would have happened! WAAaaaaa-haaaaaaa~! ::runs crying out of the room::
