New 3DS Firmware Update Available: 4.2.0-9U

By Kevin on Jun 27 2012 11:02 PM
A new firmware update, Version 4.2.0-9U, is now available for your Nintendo 3DS. You can download and install the new firmware update by clicking on the "System Settings" icon from the home screen of your 3DS. Once inside the System Settings menu, click on "Other Settings," then scroll to the 4th menu and click on "System Update." This system update (I hope you're sitting down) features the following improvements, via Nintendo of America's System and Feature Updates web page:

"Further improvements to overall system stability and other minor adjustments have been made to enhance the user experience."

The Japanese and European regions also received the update, named Version 4.2.0-9J and Version 4.2.0-9E, respectively.
