Hey you, Pikachu 3DS XL. And, put a bra on, will ya?!

A newly released Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity TV commercial reveals something big: XL-sized to be specific. During the thirty-six second commercial, there's one thing that can't be denied. One of the actors is playing Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity on a Pikachu-themed 3DS XL. No, you're not seeing things. Keep in mind that this is a television commercial created for the North American audience.

Need I say more?

Europe, Japan, and even Chile have already received the Limited Edition Pikachu 3DS XL. Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity is coming to North American retail and eShop on Sunday, March 24th. The Pikachu 3DS XL is coming, folks.

Stay tuned for more information and official confirmation from Nintendo of America!

You seem to have missed the entire point.

Nope. I did see the new Pikachu 3DS XL in the video. :) I simply forgot to mention it in my post. Hehehe. It is cool though seeing more of it I am not sure if it is for me. I would much rather the black Charizard one that is very rare and currently in Japan only.
Well, I can't wait to get this! It'll be officially revealed in the next Nintendo Direct.
And this is why I have been waiting to get an XL. Patiently. lol... If it is true that we are getting it, then I will be at Gamestop with my pre-order. ;)

Of course, if something cooler is announced with it, then I will be getting that XL.

My Dream limited edition 3DS XL: A Metroid 3DS XL. :)

Hey Kev; there's an Article Idea for you: what is your dream, limited edition 3DS XL? ;)

This is exactly why I don't have an XL yet either. I'm super-excited about this one.

That's a great idea. I wish I was proficient enough in photo editing software to put together four or five mock-ups for those. I'd love to see a big 'ole Metroid on top of the cover of a 3DS XL.
Wait, so the game promises to pull us into the world of Pokémon while we play, but we'll still age? I don't know if this is such a good idea... :^/

Nintendo should have gone all the way and prevented aging alongside the inter-dimensional travel. I'm disappointed.

At least we'll be rocking a Pikachu 3DS XL when we return to the future. And by then, it'll be considered vintage!

I can't tell you how much I enjoy your posts sometimes!  Always taking it somewhere I didn't even consider.

Heads up! Nintendo of America just uploaded this teaser image to their Pokemon Twitter page, with a full reveal coming tomorrow. I'd say a US release of the Pikachu 3DS XL is pretty much a given now :3
I've been patiently waiting a long time for this. This will be my first 3DS XL and final 3DS overall. I'm excited!
