I just wanted to give everyone an update, in reference to a mini project I just completed. Upon hearing the names of the two new 3DS Pokémon titles, Pokémon X and Pokémon Y, leave the

lips of Mr. Iwata-san during the recent Pokémon Direct, I purchased a few good domain names. The domains I chose to purchase were pokemonxversion.com and pokemonyversion.com. At the time I purchased the domains, I had no idea that the word "version" would be omitted from each title. No one did.

After it was all said and done with, it didn't matter to me. I love the Pokémon franchise of video games, as well as, well, pretty much everything else related to Pokémon. Either way, I was determined to design a web page to keep track of all the latest scoop for Pokémon X and Pokémon Y, prior to their world-wide debuts this coming October. So, that's exactly what I did.

I designed a neat little web page with all kinds of good info on it. It's nothing crazy, just a slick and simple page.

On the web page, you'll find some background information that lead up to the unveiling, information pertaining to the brand-new Generation VI (6) Pokémon, media such as images and videos and important news highlights. The news, displayed at the bottom of the page, is chronologically listed from most-recent to oldest. If anyone sees any information that is not on the page, let me know and I will add it. I might make a few small changes, but nothing major. I intend to keep it as simple as possible. If the page looks weird or messed up, just reload your web Browser.

I hope everyone enjoys it. I look forward to the anticipation with everyone as we get closer to another October!

I followed the links and I found the Pokémon Grey story very interesting.

Nintendo Nerds was a site you bought the domain name of as well, right?

I can understand the appeal completely. You become part of the history of the Internet itself when you own a domain name. So it is pretty fascinating. It's also a kind of investing.

But when I initially read that you had these two new domain names, my first thought was for your wife! XD "Oh no," I worried, "He's going to work on another site on top of everything else?" So I was grateful when they redirected here. Haha!

I have a question though.

Why doesn't Nintendo Nerds have any advertisements? I like it, but I feel like you should be profiting a bit from the work you put into this site as well. I'm conflicted about it, really.
I always love your enthusiasm and how you jump on these opportunities. The page looks great.

I learned my lesson in the past to stick with one website. BUT, if I decided to take something like that on, my wife would still fully support me.

That's a great question! It's quite simple, actually. I do this for a hobby and currently have no real intention of gaining any significant profit from ads. We do have a donation page, but that's it for now.
