Pushmo Sequel Crashmo Coming To eShop In November

If you liked the popular puzzler Pushmo, from the Nintendo 3DS eShop, you're in for a real treat. Announced in today's Press Release from Nintendo of America, Crashmo is the sequel to Pushmo and it's coming to an eShop near you! Crashmo launches in the North American eShop on November 22nd, 2012. It will also launch in the European 3DS eShop, titled as Fallblox, at some point in November. No pricing details have been announced as of yet, however.

In Crashmo, you'll once again take on the role of Mallo. This time, instead of saving imprisoned kids, you'll be rescuing birds. Wait a second! Can't birds fly? Well, even though these birds have flapping wings, they apparently can't fly their way out of danger. I can't wait to see how this story unfolds.

Here's what you need to know about Crashmo/ Fallblox:
  • New gravity mechanics
  • Floating blocks, doors and move switches
  • Unsupported blocks will "crash" down
  • 140 brand-new levels
  • 90 training levels
  • Create and share levels using QR codes
  • View the puzzles from any angle
  • Move the blocks around freely
Here's the video clip from today's European Nintendo Direct. (Thanks, NWR)

Here are two screenshots as well.

Yeah... no point in jumping into another game without completing the original.
I actually ended up downloading Pushblox from the eShop after seeing the gameplay for Fallblox. Haven't played it yet, though. Too caught up in Pokemon Black Version 2 and Liberation Maiden right now.
