Nintendo of Australia have partnered up with select Hoyts Cinemas across the outback (excluding the Northern Territory) to grant early access to the Melody Pokémon Meloetta. The occasion for this event is the upcoming movie release of Pokémon the Movie: Kyurem vs. the Sword of Justice.

Moviegoers who purchase tickets for the new Pokémon movie will have to time this carefully though, as the promotion is only being offered for two days: February 23rd and February 24th. This special Wi-Fi event is valid for the Pokémon Black Version, Pokémon Black 2 Version, Pokémon White Version and Pokémon White 2 Version game cards for the Nintendo DS.

Oh wow, they are having this movie on the big screen huh? That is nice. I thought it was a pretty good movie (as seen on Cartoon Network) with an extremely well known voice actor for Keldeo. Anyone who knows anime should know the voice. Hint Hint: Fullmetal Alchemist.

Anyway, I would have loved to get early access to Meloetta. *Sigh*
yea i try to nab as many of these kind of pkmn as i can so (besides to have an extra) if i run across a new pkmn gamer i can help em out!! i would have also loved a early access to meloetta.. eh its worth the wait!

FMA is a great series, both the original and brotherhood.

Unfortunately, much like the US, seeing Japanese animated movies in cinemas around here is pretty rare and only happens ever so often. Madman's been getting more into it lately, but only with Dendy Cinemas (the closest one to me is all the way in Newtown.) The Japan Foundation (where I learn Japanese) holds the Japanese Film Festival yearly at the Event Cinemas at George Street near Town Hall and screens at least two animated films (last year's selections were Kyoto Animation's K-ON!! and Studio Ghibli's From up on Poppy Hill, if I remember correctly, but I've lost the booklet), but beyond that, not much.

THAT SAID, I was curious when I heard about the movie showing a few weeks ago, but undecided, as I had only just watched the Japanese language version. But I'll go see it for sure now, so I can grab Meloetta early, the little bundle of adorableness.
That movie is quite good (I saw it on Cartoon Network), it's neat they're releasing Meloetta via Wi-Fi event at the theatre. :)
