Pokemon + Nobunaga’s Ambition Dominates In Japan

It shouldn't come as too big of a surprise that Pokemon + Nobunaga’s Ambition has succeeded in topping the Japanese sales charts. The newly released crossover title has managed to sell more than 172,000 units, according to a Media Create sales chart for the week of March 12 through March 18. Pokemon + Nobunaga’s Ambition debuted in Japan last Saturday, March 17th. It is currently unknown whether or not Pokemon + Nobunaga’s Ambition will be released outside of Japan, but the chances are very likely. Not only did it claim the number one spot for last week, but it managed to outshine the number 2 spot by nearly 50,000 units. Here's the official top twenty titles from the Media Create sales data for last week.

some thing that is really expected, the pokemon fan base really spans generations, its not limited to kids, wait for BW2 for sure it will set a new record

I still think it would be an upset if it comes to North America. Sure, it's a Pokemon game, but it's a strange crossover, and it's also a late gen DS game that will get heavily overshadowed by Black and White 2.

I agree, im pretty much certain that Pkm+NAB will be virtually invincible in terms of sales given the fact that Black and White 2 will have very short intervals in terms of release in Japan and internationally, if Nintendo decides for this game to be released internationally by that time it wont be good in terms of sales cause chances are fan translations have already spread across the web
