Sweet Dreams With Mythical Arceus

By Kevin on Jan 17 2012 07:55 AM
Dream No Further, Arceus Is Here!

Back in early November, I posted an article called Vote For Your Pokémon Global Link Pokémon. That article encouraged Pokémon fans world-wide to vote for the Pokémon they wanted most, via the Pokémon Dream World. The results for the poll were actually announced last month but I completely forgot to announce the winner of the poll. I apologize for that, everyone. For some reason, I sort of had a feeling that the Mythical Pokémon Arceus would become the victor to fans all over the world.

From February 1st through February 29th May 1st, you can befriend the Mythical Pokémon Arceus. Once befriended, you can utilize the Game Sync feature to bring it into your Pokémon Black Version or Pokémon White Version game. Don't miss the chance to add this rare, one-of-a-kind Pokémon to your arsenal.

Is anyone else looking forward to this besides me?

Looks like someone already likes it. B)

That is so cool. I wonder how you befriend it.

I'm not even going to ask why you didn't read the article before posting. I try my best to be descriptive when writing articles. I thought it was pretty clear, dude. You yourself, Buff, even own Pokémon Black Version.

So now, I've gotta ask you, Buff...

What part of this information wasn't clear enough to understand? If something was unclear, I'd be most interested in knowing so this type of thing doesn't happen again.
I read the article it doesn't say anything on how you get it or that other one you posted recently.

Ahh...but yes it does:

via the Pokémon Dream World.

I'm not sure how to make it more obvious than that. I swear you must be pulling my leg here. You, sir, have obviously never taken the time to explore what your copy of Pokémon Black Version has to offer to you. That, or your just stuck in your own little Dream World.
I'll explain the Dream World.

First off, go to http://www.pokemon.com and register for a Pokemon Trainer Club account.
Next, fire up Pokemon Black and select "Game Sync Settings" in the main menu. (You may also select "Game Sync" on the "Online" portion of your C-Gear) This will give you a game sync ID.
Go to http://en.pokemon-gl.com/ (the Pokemon Global Link site), and log in using your Trainer Club account. You should be able to register your game sync ID.
In order to access the Dream World, you have to "tuck in" one of your Pokemon. This is done by selecting "Game Sync". Choose a Pokemon to tuck in and it will fall asleep. Now go to the Pokemon Global Link site and the Dream World will be accessible in a couple minutes.
Once you're in the Dream World(provided, of course, that you're within the timeline to get Arceus), you could leave at this point. However, I suggest crossing the bridge in order to score another Pokemon while you're there. They will randomly show up(typically, three will appear per playthrough), and if you complete a pathetically easy minigame, you can befriend them. At the end, you will be allowed to choose one of the befriended Pokemon back to your game.
Next, exit the Dream World, then wake up your Pokemon using "Game Sync".
In order to import the Pokemon into your game, go to "Wireless" on your C-Gear and choose "Entralink". The Pokemon are in a forest just north of your starting point. Catch them(the Dream Ball that mysteriously appears is like a Master Ball) and they're yours.

Regarding Mewtwo, I'm not sure about this, but I believe it's similar to the recent Victini giveaway. If that's the case, then simply select "Mystery Gift" in the main menu, and select "Nintendo Wifi Connection". After you do this, head to a Pokemon Center and there should be a deliveryman. Speak to him to get the poke.
Oh ok I sorta figured it was something like that. I was just playing stupid with ya all. I guess I never really  messed with the dream world part of the game yet.
Well, if you run into any problems or have any questions, you know where to ask.

Well then, that was pretty rude of you. Chris took a good amount of time to give you a detailed overview and you didn't even tell him thank you. Don't expect to get any assistance from me with stuff like this in the future unless you apologize to him.

EDIT: Man, you are lucky Chris is more tactful than I am.
Im sorry Kevin and Chris for being stupid. Thank you for the overview  It is was very helpful.  :)
Why are you apologizing for being stupid? If I didn't know better, I'd suspect sarcasm.
Because Kevin told me I had to say something to you.
Did anyone else get Arceus yet? I just did and it's pretty sweet.

Where did you get your other one?

Also, according to Pokemon Global Link (PGL), this event is valid through May 1st, 2012. I've edited the original post.
Nope I haven't come across one yet but I did go in the dreamworld and picked up a level 10 Duskull. where did you find it.? I went in late last night.

OK, Buffinator. You've inspired me to publish a detailed article on this; specifically this Arceus event. Provided you can wait a few hours, I'll provide a very detailed guide.
I can wait. it says I have 9 hours before I can access the dreamworld agian anyways.
