Google's First NES Application

By Kevin on Mar 31 2012 11:13 AM
It seems like Google is on their way to start developing games and applications for one of our move beloved systems, the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES). Many of us grew up with the NES. Let's face it, it was our favorite babysitter. Well, it's time to retrieve your NES out of the box in your closet because there are new items, specifically Google applications that are compatible. When the seemingly impossible seems to take place, Google is always there to remind us that they remain the most innovative company in the world, and can accomplish even the most unforeseen tasks. Please, take a look at Google's new NES application, Google Maps for the NES!

I played around with it for a bit, it's pretty cool. I would have never thought that there would be a form of Google Maps using the graphics of Dragon Warrior(a.k.a. Dragon Quest).
I bet it's all a prank

I thought that was pretty funny how they were referring to the Famicom as the "NES."
yeah, I thought the famicom as NEs thing was odd, but whatever.  Why now though?  It's march 31st here still for several hours yet.

I put it out there as soon as I heard about it. I figured a day early, for something like this, would still be undoubtedly obvious.
I think it could be real but it could also be a early april fool's joke. It seems kinda wierd that something like that would develop now for such a old system.

Yeah, and CG is getting married soon.

I'll spare Chris the energy.
