Nintendo 3DS Software Showcase E3 2012 - Reporting As It Happens

By Kevin on Jun 06 2012 05:50 PM
This week, Nintendo have been making a pretty solid impression at the E3 Expo, held at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Nintendo Global President, Satoru Iwata, mildly tamed our appetite on Sunday, June 3rd, with some basic Pre E3 insight. Mr. Iwata assured us that the new Wii U, in tandem with its Wii U GamePad controller, would bring a uniqueness to the way we play games and socialize with friends from within the comforts of our homes.

On Tuesday, June 5th, Nintendo of America President Reggie Fils-Aime, along with legendary Pokémon video game designer and developer Shigeru Miyamoto, brought light to many of our burning questions and concerns. The specific topic of discussion during this All-Access Presentation was the Wii U software lineup. Minute details were revealed for 3DS titles such as New Super Mario Bros. 2, Paper Mario: Sticker Star, Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon and a few others. This evening, in exactly two more hours, we're going to be learning a lot more about what's in store for the 3DS software library.

That's definitely one of the titles I'm looking forward to the most. How ingenious and clever of Nintendo to make use of "stickers" in the game. That's just...awesome! I can't wait to see the official trailer tonight.
I totally agree!

Looking forward to Harvest Moon A New Beginning as well :D
Animal Crossing details better be revealed! I want to know more about that game, and when it comes out.
I could not believe that they did not mention animal crossing. What punk asses. I mean I am in total adoration of paper mario sticker star for two reasons. I think it is funny and fun to play and the man who presented it was cute. (yeah I said it).

New Super Mario Bros 2 seems cool. I do like the return of the racoon suit with flying abilities and a closer look at the "golden showers" was fun as well. I want that game for sure.

I just hope a nintendo direct comes soon to deliver us some AC!
Yea i went into gamestop (shortly after the videos came out) to get rayman origins for the 3ds (they didnt have it) and i heard quite a few ppl complaining about how disappointed they were in nintendo lol i dont like that there arent many co-op multi-player games for the 3ds.. but im definitly excited about luigis mansion and paper mario games! and of course pokemon black 2 white 2! Animal crossing was one thing that i was looking forward to hearing about but i guess that CAN wait.. i guess..
