Pokémon Pop-Tarts, Anyone?

By Kevin on Oct 12 2012 06:51 PM
Recently, while researching some Pokémon information online, I came across some interesting morsels of information; food for thought, if you will. In 2000, four different themes of Kellogg's Pokémon Pop-Tarts made their way into stores nationwide. This was clearly a promotional offer for the 2000 movie Pokémon: The Movie 2000.

Each theme, with the exception of the Limited Edition Pikachu Pop-Tarts, included its own unique Battle Figure from Hasbro Toy Company. The Limited Edition Pikachu Pop-Tarts were wild cherry-flavored and included Pokémon sprinkles. The sprinkles resembled Poliwrath, Charmander and Pikachu. The Poliwrath-themed Pop-Tarts were frosted brown sugar cinnamon-flavored. Charmander's Pop-Tarts were frosted strawberry-flavored and Chansey's was S'mores-flavored. It makes me wish that these promotions would re-surface in the near future for significant events.

I know, it seems like a dream..
OMG! I HATE pop-tarts... and I especially HATE cherry flavored pop-tarts... but I would totally eat those because I can see in every one of those pokemon's eyes that it would be the right thing to do...
