A Japanese Nintendo Direct is scheduled for today, Wednesday, November 7th at 8PM JST (Japan Standard Time). If you live in North America, you can catch the Japanese Nintendo Direct tomorrow morning at 6AM EST (Eastern Standard Time) or 3AM PST (Pacific Standard Time).

The presentation will last approximately 35 minutes long and will cover information on the Wii U's system features, including Miiverse. Other regions such as Europe and North America have not yet announced a following Nintendo Direct, but they're likely to surprise us with the news very soon.

Tune into the Japanese Nintendo Direct to get the latest information.

Thanks for Cheesemeister for the heads up!

I'm ready for the North American one. I am extremely curious to see more information on Miiverse.
Bit short notice, now I have to remember to be in front of my computer at 9 PM so I can see what Iwata has in store for us.
6AM!?
Gonna be a loooooong night for me.........
My body is ready for a Nintendo Direct in Europe...but seems like Satoru Shibata's body is not yet.

We'll likely see the European and North American version soon after today's Japanese Nintendo Direct. I'll be sure to inform everyone once I receive the official announcement.
i hope that this nintendo direct is discussing miiverse which is what everyone wants to know more about already.
Iwata jumped straight into Miiverse right at the very start, so I think you'll be pleased :3
This was excellent! I was surprised when Iwata-san actually showed an un-boxing of the Wii U. I laughed when he donned the white gloves. That was classic.
I noticed that he didn't show a copy of Nintendo Land during the unboxing, considering that it was a Premium/Deluxe set/pack. This potentially suggests that, since both NL and NSMBU will be on the Wii U's Nintendo eShop at launch, the game will be pre-installed on the console, rather than a physical copy.

Or he decided it wasn't worth showing, but I think that would've been an important aspect to show if it was actually in the box.

...oh yea, I forgot that the Premium pack in Japan doesn't come with Nintendo Land. My mistake there D:

I realize that you caught your mistake, and that's good. I do want to clarify what is included for the Wii U Premium Set for Japan though. Those who purchase the Premium Set, get the subscription for Nintendo Network Premium and a registration code for Dragon Quest X. No games are included, bundled or pre-installed, as you pointed out.

New Super Mario Bros. U and Nintendo Land are day-one launch titles and will be available as a day-one digital download from the Wii U eShop as well.

If I recall correctly, there will be a limited edition Premium set at launch in Japan that will have a copy of Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, or Monster Hunter 3G HD, as it's known there.
