Classic Yoshi Arrives On Wii U Virtual Console For .30 Cents

Continuing on with Nintendo's Wii U Virtual Console Trial Campaign, Yoshi — originally released for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) in 1992 — makes its way to the Wii U Virtual Console service. From June 12th through July 11th, you can download Yoshi for only .30 cents. Also, be sure to check out Yoshi's new Miiverse community.

Trivia: Yoshi has now been released on four different Nintendo platforms. Aside from being released for the NES and Wii U Virtual Console, Yoshi was also released as a 3DS Virtual Console title on February 21st, 2013 and as a Wii Virtual Console title on July 9th, 2007.

As a reminder, here is the full schedule for what the Wii U Virtual Console Trial Campaign. All offers are .30 cents during the time frame below. After the end dates, each title will return to normal retail price.
  • January 23rd - February 21st, 2013 - Balloon Fight (NES)
  • February 20th - March 21st, 2013 - F-Zero (SNES)
  • March 20th - April 18th, 2013 - Punch-Out!! Featuring Mr. Dream (NES)
  • April 17th - May 16th, 2013 - Kirby's Adventure (NES)
  • May 15th - June 13th, 2013 - Super Metroid (SNES)
  • June 12th - July 11th, 2013 - Yoshi (NES)

I admit I bought this title because of the 30 cent price. I already have it on 3DS, but for 30 cents, I figured what the heck.
We are getting close to the end folks. I will be picking this up since it is .30 cents. I have not played it much on my 3DS and I am not sure I will on Wii U but you can'y go wrong with the price.
30¢ isn't bad for almost any game out hehe. Buying it.
Yoshi is a great game. I remember playing it on the original Game Boy gray brick. XD I still have it too, I think!
This game was actually kinda fun. Usually I don't go for this type of game, but for 30 cents I did. I got my 30 cents worth!
I have this game on my 3DS and hate it so I whont get this game when I get a wii u even if it was still $0.30.
I'm surprised at all the love this game is getting.  Yoshi is about as fun as watching paint dry.
I agree with you Chris Yoshi is about as fun as watching paint dry. I almost bought this game on ebay once but decided to get super Mario advance 3 instead.
