The Tokyo Game Show, or simply TGS, is a yearly video game convention that is presented by Computer Entertainment Supplier's Association (CESA) and the Nikkei Business Publications, Inc. The show is held in the Makuhari Messe, located in Chiba, Japan. Video game developers from around the world gather there to showcase their upcoming games and related video game hardware.

This year, Square Enix have promised that they will have a playable demo for the Wii U version of Dragon Quest X. While the popular Wii version of Dragon Quest X was released last month in Japan, Dragon Quest X for the Wii U will shine, thanks to the unique experience that is offered by the Wii U GamePad. This is the first time that Dragon Quest X for the Wii U is being showcased to the public.

We'll soon find out how the Wii and Wii U version of Dragon Quest X work together for cross-platform compatibility.

This year's TGS will be held from Thursday, September, 20th through Sunday, September, 23rd.

I really miss playing a console Dragon Quest game. My last was DQ VIII which I loved and played on PS2. Despite the fact that this is an online game which does not peak my interest normally, it looks amazing. If I had more time to invest on online games I would certain get this for Wii U.
