Kirby's Adventure doesn't suck.

Originally released in North America on May 1st, 1993, Kirby's Adventure is unquestionably one of the greatest games created for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES). Starting April 17th (today), and ending on May 16th, Wii U owners can purchase this timeless classic from the Wii U eShop for only .30 cents. Kirby's Adventure is the fourth offer in the Wii U Virtual Console Trial Campaign lineup. The previous offer, Punch-Out!! Featuring Mr. Dream (NES) is still available for .30 cents, but that offer ends tomorrow.

Here's a reminder for what the Wii U Virtual Console Trial Campaign offers. All offers are .30 cents during the time frame below. After the end dates, each title will return to normal retail price.

I grabbed this Kirby's Adventure today to check out the Kirby franchise. I've never played a Kirby title, except for the free one they gave 3DS Ambassadors. And i only played it for like 2 minutes

I figured the first in the series was the place to begin my time with Kirby, so I'm going to check it out. I will say that the Kirby's Epic Yarn and Kirby's Return to Dreamland on Wii both interested me but I skipped them since I hadn't played a Kirby game. It might be time to revisit those if all goes well with this VC title on Wii U.

Good things are coming to Wii U, it's going to be a great Year of Luigi!
I picked up this game. I mean the price was the main reason but maybe I will finally get into the Kirby series because of this game.
Consider it bought.  Although, it's not actually bought yet, since I didn't know it was out till I read this.  You get the idea though right? ;)

Not quite the first. The first was "Kirby's Dream Land" on Game Boy. I owned it and fought over it with my sister on family car trips way back in the day. That and "The Incredible Crash Dummies".

For 30 cents, I'll be picking this up. You can't beat that price anywhere. It'll be a way of remembering the summer I spent selling Kirby vacuum cleaners door-to-door. Worst Job/Weirdest Summer EVER.
I'm really digging this Kirby game. I love the crane-game thing, it never gets old. Except kirby seems to be stuck in those crane games with some old, dead Kirby's or just some really ugly toys.

I love them game so much I've picked up Kirby's Epic Yarn and Return to Dreamland for Wii. I'll hopefully pick up the Kirby 20th anniversary collection too if I can find one reasonably priced.

Thanks for pointing out the Kirby Dreamland on Gameboy was the first, I just picked this up on 3DS Virtual Console. Time to see what it's all about!
