Developer BioWare have just revealed a Special Edition trailer for the upcoming Wii U launch title Mass Effect 3. This Special Edition trailer is approximately one minute and thirty seconds long and shows some great footage from the game, as well as the Wii U GamePad in action. The game will also include the Omega DLC (Downloadable Content) when launched.

I only wish that they did all the ME games for the system. I just got into the series this year and bought them all for the 360. They are soooooooooo amazing! I have yet to finish the third game, I'm saving money to get all the DLC before I go further so I'm currently playing other games instead. But I can't wait to finish ME3. Had all three of them been done for the WiiU, I would have made an effort to save up the money to get the system and the games all over again because they are soooooooooooo worth it.

I do hope this game gets a lot of sales though. I want ME to have as much support as possible!
Well, BioWare's currently working on a trilogy edition for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. I'm sure it'll only be a matter of time before that gets ported over to the Wii U. Might be a year or so, though.
Well I'd get it if it does. I'm not getting the Wii U until a new Zelda is released anyways lol
They shouldn't even have bothered with ME3 for Wii U. Why would someone want to jump in at the third part of the trilogy?
I am not sure how many people will buy this game being that the prequels are on other platforms but crazier things have happened. I mean if you love the series and think that the Wii U gamepad will add something to your experience then why not? Who hasn't stuck with a series that has jumped from a console to a mobile platform then back again? I know I have.
I know nothing about the Mass Effect series.

Let's say I bought Mass Effect 3, though. Would I be missing out on any of the previous story from the earlier titles in the series. I understand that's how it usually works, but not all the time. If I can simply pick this game up, and start playing it without having to know the backstory, I might give it a shot.
It's worth mentioning that, like the PS3 version of Mass Effect 2, this version of Mass Effect 3 will have an interactive comic that'll cover the key points of the first two games. So, you wouldn't really miss out on much.

Personally, I have issues with EA as a business, so I won't be going anywhere near this. I haven't even touched my copy of Mass Effect 2 since buying it... mainly because I want to clear out everything in the first game, first.
