Mega Man X Confirmed For Wii U Virtual Console Service May 30th

Ready for more Capcom goodness?

He's known across the world by many different names — Rockman, The Blue Bomber, and Mega Man. On May 30th, you can download Capcom's Mega Man X for the Wii U Virtual Console service for $7.99. Mega Man X is an action/ platformer that was originally released as a Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) title on January of 1994.

As a reminder, if you've already purchased Mega Man X for the Wii Virtual Console service, it can be transferred to your Wii U at no charge. If you wish to use the game's Miiverse and Wii U functionality, however, you'll need to pay a small upgrade fee. Upgrade fees for NES titles are $1.00 while SNES titles are $1.50.

Lastly, May 30th is a big day for the the 3DS Virtual Console service as well. The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages and The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons are debuting for the 3DS Virtual Console at a discounted price of $4.99 each. Mark your calendars.

I am very glad that I will finally be able to see where the series began. I know I could have prior to this but I like supporting the Wii U and honestly the Gamepad and quick-save features really help me dive into these classic titles.
