Here are some of the known details about New Super Mario Bros. U.
  • Levels seem to be spread across one large map; similar to the one found on Super Mario World for the SNES
  • Map can be scrolled, allowing exploration at any time on the main map screen
  • Choices can be made as to which world you want to explore next
  • Boost Rush mode: A new made that offers more challenging stages that auto-scroll horizontally, forcing you to maintain a quick page through the stage
  • 7 confirmed worlds: Acorn Plains, Sparkling Waters, Frosted Glacier, Layer Cake Desert and other areas similar to the Forest of Illusion and Sky World. Another world seems to be surrounded by a tornado
  • Boom-Boom guards each of the mid-world fortresses
  • Koopalings heavily guard each of the castle; no surprise there, really

This is some good information. Boost Rush mode seems like it will be pretty cool though I doubt I will ever use it. I am not that good at these Mario games to test my skills in such a manner. I basically suck at coin rush mode in NSMB2.
Oh, man this looks like it's going to be really fun! I need two more jobs to keep up with all the gaming stuff I want :D .

I know right? I feel like half of my paycheck goes into gaming. Lol.
Seriously. I can usually only afford two games per fortnight at best because of the price tag most of them have here. I would not be surprised at all if Nintendo's Wii U games were all $100 each when they release here D:

I have a feeling I'd suck at Boost Rush, too.
