Nintendo Land Download Size Is 3.2GB

The official websites for Nintendo's New Super Mario Bros. U and Nintendo Land titles have been recently updated with some good technical information. Even though Japan won't see Wii U line their shelves until about three weeks after North America, they had the detailed information we were looking for. With only ten days until the Wii U launches in North America, you'd think their websites would be the most up-to-date. At any rate, we've discovered the digital download sizes for both New Super Mario Bros. U and Nintendo Land.

According to the text at the very bottom of this image, New Super Mario Bros. U will require more than 2GB of free space. A direct translation of the text says, "Amount of space required to store the download version is more than 2GB."

Also, I'd like to point out that those icons on the left-hand side of the images are the official icons and will be the same ones shown in WaraWara Plaza, as well as other aspects of Miiverse.

Hmm well that is not a horrible amount of space. Though if you are picking up the basic set then I could see it easily becoming an issue.
