Rayman Legends Delayed Until September

Rayman isn't so quick now, is he?

Do you remember being so excited about downloading Ubisoft's Rayman Legends demo from the Wii U eShop last December? It felt quite comparable to an early Christmas present. The demo was fun, looked stunning and provided hope for what was to come in the following months: hope. False hope. Last week, Ubisoft announced to its fans that the game would be delayed until September. But why? The development of Rayman Legends — a Wii U exclusive title — has already been completed. The developers put a lot of hard work into that game, often burning the midnight oil on several occasions, in an effort to give fans the Wii U exclusive title they've been waiting for.

Michel Ancel is the creator of Rayman. He's recently appeared in photos with members of the development team to protest against the unexpected delay of the game. The reason for the delay was to create a simultaneous September launch for the Wii U, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions. So much for that Wii U exclusivity. Why wait though?

Rayman Legends was originally set to be released on February 28th of this year. Ubisoft promises to release another demo for the game to Wii U owners. Is that enough though? Who or what is to blame?

Nooooooo!! I was really looking forward to playing this soon.
Miiverse is crazy with negative feedback on this decision. I think it stinks. Release the Wii U version when it was promised. Then release the others in September.
I'm not a Wii U owner (yet), and I'm kind of happy that it's coming to the PS3, but I agree that it shouldn't have been delayed. That's just silly on their part.
I kinda think it's insulting that Ubisoft reckons releasing another demo will placate angry fans
If you get the chance, check out the UPlay community in Miiverse. Everyone is dogging Ubisoft for this.

I wouldn't doubt that, haha. Was a bad decision on their part to delay it for Wii U.
I'm not going to even start how pissed i am about this...
