Whoever said there's nothing free in life? How about 60 Club Nintendo Coins?

TANK! TANK! TANK! may not be the best software offered to Wii U fans from Namco Bandai, but it's now FREE in the Nintendo Wii U eShop. Better yet, it's eligible for 60 Club Nintendo Coins and another 10 Coins for a post-play survey! While the software is free, it does rely heavily on paid Downloadable Content (DLC) in an effort to make the game a more enjoyable experience.

This "free" version of TANK! TANK! TANK! includes the base version: the DLC is completely optional. The base version will give you enough hands-on to get a feel for the game and decide whether or not you'll want to purchase any of the add-on content. Here's a list of the DLC available for TANK! TANK! TANK!.
  • Versus - Industrial Complex ($1.99)
  • Versus - Ruins ($1.99)
  • Versus - Coastal Area ($1.99)
  • Versus - Canyon ($1.99)
  • Versus - Volcanic Area ($1.99)
  • Versus - Lunar Base ($1.99)
  • My Kong - ($1.99 until May 15th)
  • Monster Battle Ruins - ($3.99)
  • Monster Battle Industrial Complex - ($3.99)
  • Story Mission - ($9.99)
At the very least, give it a shot! You have nothing to lose and you'll earn an easy 60 Club Nintendo Coins!

Thanks for the heads up, maybe I'll check this out.
I made sure to download this game yesterday before I even knew about the Club Nintendo coins. I am happy about the download just for the coin value alone. We will see what I think of the game itself.
I could play this a bit for coins. Would have absolutely passed on this otherwise. At least I'll have the satisfaction of giving a highly critical review.

On the other hand... don't knock it till you try it. I post back with my final verdict.
FYI If you buy any of the DLCpacks, it removes the 3 play per day limit. I bought the My Kong and 2 of the Versus packs.

I might buy the rest of the $1.99 packs. The game is more fun in the My Kong mode. You become the monster instead of the tank.

The game isnt worth the full retail price, but is worth the $6 I have spent so far.

I still think this game would be a better fit on the 3DS.
well, looks like they stopped awarding the 60 coins for Tank! Tank ! Tank!. I downloaded the game last week and even bought a couple of the DLC  add-ons for $1.99. I haven't received my survey yet. I bought a game in the 3DS eSHop at the same time and I've received that survey already, so looks like I missed out on the free coins. Oh Well!
