The Cave Confirmed For Wii U

The Cave, originally unveiled at the 2012 Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) for Xbox LIVE Arcade (XBLA), PlayStation Network (PSN) and PC, has recently been confirmed for the Wii U. Game creator Ron Gilbert recently confirmed that The Cave will make its way to the Wii U as a downloadable title. The Cave is developed by Double Fine Productions and is published by Sega. Choose from seven different unique adventurers to construct the ultimate three-man team, traversing unknown depths. Explore a subterranean amusement park, medieval castle and even a nuclear-tipped Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM).

While the exact release date for the Wii U is not confirmed, we do know that it will become available at some point in 2013. The XBLA, PSN and PC versions are confirmed for early 2013. This is good news. I like seeing a title that may have a common release date among platforms. I personally have no interest in the title at the moment but I am still happy it is coming.
