Ubisoft Shows Sports Connection For Wii U

By Kevin on Aug 16 2012 11:45 PM
Ubisoft have been making their name exceptionally well-known lately with Wii U; almost synonymous. Recently uploaded to their YouTube channel, Sports Connection seems to be the equivalent Wii Sports for the Wii U, except that it comes from a 3rd party developer/ publisher. Sports Connection makes full use of the Wii U GamePad capabilities and allows the player to enjoy a single-player or multi-player experience. Sports Connection is scheduled to be released this holiday season, exclusively for the Wii U.

This looks cute but I do not think it is for me.
The best part about this cheesy video, was the precision fist bump.
I saw this the other day and thought WOW, this looks like something Nintendo could have made. I wonder if they will have a Wii sports for the new console too.

It doesn't look likely. The closest, comparable title is Wii Fit U.
I think this offering from Ubisoft is going to be the replacement if they haven't come up with anything yet. Then again who knows, they still haven't told us everything about the Wii U yet.
