Let the Miiverse spamming ensue!

A new update to the web-based version of Miiverse now allows members (who are signed in to the service) to make new posts and follow fellow Miiverse users. I know many of us have been waiting for this functionality to be incorporated, but is it really a step in the right direction?

I did not think this was a smart move (as stated in a previous post) but  I guess Nintendo knows what they are doing. It seems like they want more people to use Miiverse no matter the source. I will be sure to try this out today.
I am torn as well. I'm not sure if allowing New Posts from mobile devices/web is really a good thing, except in one particular instance. Organizing Online games and tournaments with friends would need this functionality because you are not always on Wii U when you need to do so. Of course, Miiverse doesn't have an official area for setting up games between friends or tournaments. I really hope they add that functionality as well, because I can see it getting a lot of use.

Well we kind of need more online games before they would consider making that available. I mean aren't they working on user created communities for like Wii Fit U and such? I could see that working out for tournaments etc.
Well, you can only use Miiverse if you have a Wii U, right? I think it's okay, I think people quickly learn what behavior is acceptable on Miiverse.

There will be a shake-up when it hits the 3DS though. If Colors! 3D is any indication, I think that's where problem members may arise. But Miiverse is thankfully strict and I'm sure it'll all work out.

Totally agree. It's the one feature though I really hope they include in Miiverse. Those games will come with Mario Kart U, Wii Fit U, and others.

Plus, with the announcement of Mario Golf on 3DS, I hope we get a Wii U Version as well. I love the Mario Golf games, and I can see a lot of connectivity options available between Wii U and 3DS if they ever decided too. With the release of Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate earlier this year on both 3DS and Wii U, I hope Nintendo and other developers see all the possibilities between cross platform play. And the Mario sports games fit in with that so well. I mean imagine you have a round of Mario Golf going on the Wii U and then it's time to leave.... Boom, just pick up the game on the 3DS and away you go.

It's the one thing Nintendo has been promising since early days of Gameboy Advance but they never really got it going. Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate just goes to show what all is possible!
