WTF!!!!! WIND WAKER HD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!!

I'LL NEVER GET TO PLAY IT BECAUSE I JUST DIED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyone going to buy balloon fight right now?
I can't believe how incredible this Wii U Direct was. The best thing I can take from this is the fact that Nintendo is listening. They are working on all the things that we have asked for since release.

I will certainly re-download Wii Virtual Console titles for the reduced prices since they will offer Miiverse communities, Save options and Off-TV play for $1 or $1.50. That is a no brainer.

Also, Zelda Wind Waker HD! I have yet to complete the original game and it looks like I wont bother. I am surely getting this new version. I can't even begin to express how happy I was for that announcement!

There are other positives but those specifically made me gasp at work! Haha.
Not to be "that guy", but Iwata said to look forward to this coming E3 for details on Smash and Mario Kart, which would be E3 2013, not 2014. Had me do a double-take for a minute there :)

Huh? Yes, why yes of course he did. I have no idea what you're talking about!
Spoiler
Great Nintendo Direct. Didn't see that coming.
I really need to get a Wii U now.
Wind Waker HD; an MMORPG by Monolith that looks and feels very Xenoblade-y; previews of Smash Bros. 3D/U, 3D Mario U and Mario Kart U at E3 and just a lot of awesome info in general. I absolutely can't wait for March to get here. Shame that the Wii U will most likely suffer a lack of retail software until then.

Just from Nintendo. There will be titles coming out.
I just watched the Nintendo Direct and I have to say I felt really satisfied. I don't have a Wii U yet, but Nintendo has me excited for what it has in store for us.

And although E3 media coverage will be talking about the new console systems from Sony and Microsoft, I'm also excited that Nintendo will have plenty of new announcements as well. I really want to see what Mario Kart will be like on the Wii U. How will Super Smash Bros. play on both the Wii U and the 3DS? The more I contemplate this Nintendo Direct, the more questions I have. That's a good thing. :)
The Monolithsoft game has me the most excited! It just screams Xenoblade to me :)

Where did it say it was an MMO? I didn't get that impression.

In any case, I can't wait to see/hear more about this new game! I would love it to be a sequel to Xenoblade :)

The other game that completely surprised me was the SMT x Fire Emblem crossover game! What an unusual mix! Will certainly keep my eye on that game! (and glad Nintendo is involved, as, if this was purely Atlus it would've take forever to arrive in euro regions)

Wind Waker HD - um yea. It's cool they're working on a HD version. I also hope they fix the issue from the original as it felt rushed/incomplete and they fix the giant ocean search segment of the game (which is what originally turned me off the game).

On a side note: I was hoping they'd announce GameCube VC games: first up Eternal Darkness!! But alas, no :(

Bayonetta 2 - still no concrete details!! But I loved the little sassy ending "So you want to touch me?" (her voice acting is a prime example of excellent voice acting in a game!! such a perfect fit)
