Nintendo have confirmed to video game information website Kotaku, that Wii U games will retail for $59.99 US Dollars. Compared to the retail price of Wii titles, this is a $10 dollar increase. Is the difference something we can live with and accept, or is it just too much? Keep in mind that you're now playing with POWER...HD POWER that is.

Hey, it's better than $99.00 US dollars :o Plus, they always go down as months go by :)
Oh well compared to Wii games being 49.99 a 10.00 price increase is nothing for better graphics and online play alone.

Well 99.99 is a price that you see at Gamestop only when they have not yet received official prices in the system. It defaults to 99.99. There is no way anyone would pay that price for current tech (well minus the Gamepad). Being on par with PS3/XBOX360 makes sense.

Exactly, it'll for sure be worth every penny from what I hear & from what I've seen it looks that way as well. I am very stoked for this console to come out already.

That $59.99 price tag even for some Xbox games makes my wallet cry out in pain. I think game prices need to go down not up. That being said it won't stop me from buying them, but it will stop me from buying as many. I'll always be on the lookout for price drops and used copies even if I have to pay a few dollars for online options it will still work out to be less than what I would have paid for new.
