The Wii U Virtual Console Trial Campaign? That sounds like a mouthful, but we believe you'll be able to swallow it.

NES, SNES, Game Boy Advance titles for the Wii U Virtual Console service, Bayonetta 2, Pikmin 3, 2013 E3 and more — all key points of interest for 2013. This year also happens to be a very special time for Nintendo and its fans. On July 15th, 1983, the Famicom — Nintendo's first home console system, known as NES in North America and Europe was introduced to Japan. To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Famicom, Nintendo is offering a special campaign: The Wii U Virtual Console Trial Campaign.

How does everyone like this campaign?
Do you think it's a good deal?

I was surprised to find that the 30 cents thing applies here, too. Call me cynical, but I was expecting Nintendo Australia to screw us over as tends to be the usual case. Needless to say, I am very pleased that the price point is actually universal. And honestly, who wouldn't call this a good deal?

I was thinking the same thing.
Ok to clarify this as I'm a little confused and I think its because of the wording "trial".
The game is 30 cents to KEEP indefinitely for the 30 days that period is on.
Not what I thought: 30 cents for 30 days TRIAL PERIOD then you pay full price to keep it forever

It's ok, I found the fine print that explains it clearly :)

After specified promotional period, each game will be made available in the Nintendo eShop at regular price. Wii U owners who have purchased the game(s) during the promotional period will not need to purchase the game(s) again at the regular price. Games purchased during this promotional period are eligible for 2 points in the Deluxe Digital Program. Point value subject to change.
This is pretty cool. I mean why would anyone pass up a game for $0.30 even if it isn't particularly there favorite? I do not play balloon fight on my 3DS but if I had a Wii U I would probably download it anyway. :)
